Choose a useful next action

The one-life rule makes an unnecessary duel costly. As general round-based FPS advice, gather information and support the objective before committing to an exposed fight.

For attack, organize around getting the bomb to its objective. For defense, organize around stopping the plant or dealing with the planted bomb. Specific routes and timing are not claimed.
